Land & View Clearing
We regularly cut and clear areas for a range of projects including opening viewsheds, to reclaim or establish field or wildlife habitat openings or for commercial or residential construction projects. We can reclaim any type of area to re-create pastures, lawns and sites for development.
We efficiently remove any salable logs from trees that need to be cleared and leave tops and branches scattered on site, which can be piled for burning or hauled away for disposal elsewhere. We also have significant capacity to mulch standing and/or cut trees and brush for field regeneration or to control other growth, and we have the equipment and the experienced staff ready for any project.
Quality roads and trails provide safe and reliable access to the forest through all four seasons for both recreation and management. Long View's contracting staff regularly maintains, improves, and builds new access to properties for logging operations. From there our experienced crews can design, build and maintain multi-purpose trails for many uses including Nordic skiing, ATV's, walking, horseback riding, mountain bikes and more. These trail systems can greatly enhance a property's management potential and at the same time the residential or commercial landowner's enjoyment of the property.
Our crews have a broad array of experience and skills in all phases of construction, and as schedules allow we can deploy the right equipment for your job.
